Open Doors Day at Elkabel - Bridging Industry and Future Professionals

Last week, Elkabel had the pleasure of hosting an inspiring event—Open Doors Day. We welcomed students from the Vocational High School of Mechatronics and Electronics and the Vocational High School of Electrical Engineering and Electronics “Konstantin Fotinov.” The purpose of the event was to spark interest in engineering and technology careers by giving young participants a close-up look at the cable manufacturing process and the innovations driving the industry forward. During their visit, students toured our production facilities, laboratories, and testing stations. Our team of engineers and technologists conducted live demonstrations of real industrial processes and answered numerous technical questions. In addition, our HR specialists provided valuable information about summer internship opportunities and potential career paths within the company. The day’s focus was on the importance of human potential and the synergy between experience and youth—key elements that drive Elkabel’s sustainable growth. The event concluded on a high note, with excitement, prizes, and a cheerful atmosphere. Every student took part in the "Wheel of Fortune" game, where they won themed gifts and fun surprises. We extend our sincere thanks to all the students and their teachers for their interest and enthusiasm. We believe that initiatives like this help strengthen the bond between education and industry and inspire us to continue investing in the future of Bulgarian manufacturing.
